ORIGO’s Big Book Tunes Make Their Digital Download Debut (AUS, USA, CA)

Fans of ORIGO Educations’ Big Book Tunes now have more options than ever to bring the music into their classrooms. The catchy album was recently been released on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and Rhapsody.

The ORIGO Big Book Tunes are a catchy new album from pop singer/songwriter Coles Whalen & Loren Ellis, guitarist for Easton Corbin. A longtime Whalen fan commented “I’ve just come across the recent collection of Big Book Tunes.  I must say that to my ear, these songs are her best yet for the younger set.“

The record is a soundtrack to the ORIGO Big Books series. The songs develop and reinforce mathematical language through rhyme rhythm and repetition. The tunes engage the senses and bring the mathematics classroom to life. Research has shown that music fosters math skills through repetitive patterns in songs and it stimulates the use of spatial-temporal reasoning, which is useful in mathematical thinking.

The album was released with ORIGO Education earlier in the year on ORIGO’s digital platform Slate. The Tunes bring energy and engagement into the classroom.
